At 3450 metres, Jalsu pass is a well trodden trail that connects Chamba valley with Kangra valley in Himachal Pradesh. Unlike other passes in the Dhauladhar mountains, Jalsu is lush and green meadow. The meadows around Jalsu Pass are often called Himachal's flower valley. This pass is frequented by shepherds (Gaddis / Gujjars) looking for autumn grazing grounds on their way back to Kangra from Lahaul and Bharmour. As with most mountain passes, there is a cairn (piled stone) temple at the top of the pass. Read more about Jalsu Pass Trek.
